"The Association of Engineers and Architects" was founded by a small group of engineers and architects in 1921. At its 50th Anniversary in 1971, its roster included 8,500 members. The Association maintains its membership in many international and professional associations and participates in conventions abroad. Once in three years the Israeli Union acts as host to World Congresses of Engineers and Architects.

Obverse: Above, the Hebrew letters: aleph, aleph, aleph, yud, which stand for: "Association of Engineers and Architects in Israel". In the centre, the full name of the Union and the dates "5681-5731 1921-1971".

Reverse: On the right, a stylized number "50" and on the left, vertically, over three lines, the name of the organization in English: "Association of Engineers and Architects in Israel".

Edge: The word "Israel" in Hebrew and English.
