Obverse: Butterfly stamped and hand painted in colored enamel. Color varies from medal to medal.
Reverse: Tulip. To the right, the word "TULIP" in Hebrew and English.
Edge:
26 mm. silver medal - State emblem with the words "STATE OF ISRAEL', to the right in Hebrew and to the left in English, with "S 999" and serial number. Other medals - milled.
