Official Award Medal, 5736-1976


In 1976, the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Jewish National Fund, Canada Forest was dedicated in the valley of Ayalon.

Obverse
Canada State emblem, a maple leaf. On the face, a group of three fir trees. An inscription in English: "Canada Park, Presented by Keren Kayemeth Lelsrael". Below, in Hebrew: "Canada Park in the Ayalon Valley".

Reverse
The area abounds in tree tops, all of them bending toward the center of the medal. On the rim, a citation: "For the Land is Mine" (from Leviticus 25:23) in Hebrew and English.

Edge
The State emblem with the words "State of Israel" in Hebrew and English. The Silver medals bear "Silver 935" in Hebrew and "Silver" in English. The gold medal, "G 916.6".

Serialization
All the medals are numbered. Bronze - 2968 were numbered, 1350 have been melted.
