Hanukka Coin Set, 1995 5756

This special set consists of five legal tender coin denominations plus a special 12-sided new 1/2 sheqel coin. The obverse depicts a 14th century French Hanukka lamp made by a Jewish metalsmith which appeared on the 1978 5738 coppernickel Hanukka commemorative coin. The coins are packaged in a colorful binder presenting the Israel Defense Force in story and pictures. The coins in this set indicate new sheqel denomination and the mint year, 5756, with a small Hanukka lamp and the word "Hanukka" on the obverse in Hebrew and English.
