Hanukka Coin Set, 1994 5755

This special set consists of five legal tender coin denominations plus a special 12-sided ½ new sheqel coin depicting an early American Hanukka lamp which appeared on the 5737 Hanukka commemorative coin. The coins are packaged in a colorful binder devoted to American Jewry, the topic of the special ½ new sheqel coin in this set. American Jewry has played an integral part in U.S. history and culture and provided substantial assistance toward establishment of the State of Israel. The coins in this set indicate new sheqel denomination and the mint year, 5755, with a small Hanukka lamp and the word "Hanukka" on the Obverse in Hebrew and English. All of the coins are mint-fresh uncirculated.
