This set is a collection of israel coins in circulation during the first 30 years of statehood. Each com symbolizes respective period. The event-filled story of Israel's birth and development is reflected in the nine coins and copper-nickel "Liberation" medal included in this set. The "Liberation" medal is the first medal issued by the state of Israel. One side carries a replica of the Roman Judaeis Capta coin from the time of the destruction of the Temple; the other, a picture reflecting free and liberated Israel. This Medal completes the series of coins marking the rebirth of the State of Israel.The coins in the set are different years and include Pruta, Agora, Lira, New Agora and Sheqel denominations.
