Origin of motif: Coin from the period of John Hyrcanus I (135 - 104 B.C.E.).

Reverse: The denomination "5 Sheqalim" in Hebrew and English between two stars; the date in Hebrew.

Alloy: Copper 92%, aluminium 6%, nickel 2%.
