Ports and Railways Authority
Official Award Medal, 1990 5750

The State of Israel maintains foreign trade links with all parts of the world, and ships of various countries regularly visit Israel's ports at Haifa, Ashdod and Eilat. The Ports Authority was established in 1961, and in 1388. Israel Railways was incorporated into it. The authority's duties include planning, construction, development, management, maintenance and operation.
