Issued as one of a series of three medals in honor of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa. Haifa - upon the Carmel mountains amid a pastoral landscape, with an bustling port. On the other side of the coin, the contribution of Bank HaPoalim, the largest bank in the country, is highlighted. In the economic sphere, it includes industry, high-tech, agriculture, tourism, foreign trade, construction and industry. In the social sphere, it includes absorption of immigration and social development.
Obverse: Symbol of Bank HaPoalim surrounded by symbols of various areas in which the bank has been active: industry, agriculture, transportation, science and construction. In the lower portion, along the circumference, the inscription "BANK HAPOALIM" in Hebrew and English.
Reverse: View of Haifa upon the Carmel mountains with bustling port. Below, along the circumference, inscribed "HAIFA" in Hebrew and English
Edge: The initials: "I.G.C.M.C." in Hebrew and English and serial number. On the bronze/tombac medal, the word "BRONZE" in Hebrew and English; on the silver medal: "SILVER 935" in Hebrew and English.
