Amal 60th Anniversary
Official Award Medal, 5748-1988

Amal, Israel's system of comprehensive high schools, vocational schools, technical colleges and professional training centers, stretches all over the country. It provides technical training which enables its students to become part of Israel's research and educational institutions. There are 97 Amal educational frameworks around the country employing 3,000 teachers and administrators and teaching 40,000 students.

Obverse: Trie main headquarters of Amal. The passage "train up a child in the way he should go" appears in Hebrew above and in English along the circumference below.

Reverse: Amal emblem. The inscription "science and technology in the advancement of man", above in Hebrew and below in English. Along the circumference, the years '1928-1988" and "5688 5748".

Edge: IGCMC emblem and initials "I.G.C.M.C." in Hebrew on the right and in English on the left, with serial number. Silver medal - "SILVER 935".
