Menorah" - State Modelia, 1994 5754

Dali's creation "Hora around the Menorah" from his 'Aliyah" series appears in refiet on the reverse of each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel" medals. Dali created the "Alivah" series with inspiration from the establishment of the State of Israel and its cultural renewal after thousands of years of exile. "Hora around the Menorah" shows a typical image of the young, pioneering State. Dali positioned the dancers around the seven-branched menorah, in his own unique style.

Obverse: Dancing the hora in the menorah and circle of figures In the lower portion, along the circumference, the artist's signature.
