Reflections by Itzhak Tarkay
Official Medal 2000/5760
Sixth and Last in the "Women in Art" Series
Itzhak Tarkay (1935-2012) was born in Yugoslavia and studied at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem. One of the most successful contemporary Israeli artists abroad (particularly in the United States and Japan), Tarkay was a figurative artist who subjects are very often feminine figures.
