Medal No. 12 – Moses on Mt. Nebo

After 40 years of leading the Children of Israel through the wilderness, having crossed the Red Sea, received the Ten Commandments and all the trials and tribulations they had gone through together, Moses ascended Mount Nebo. From the summit of the mountain, he saw the Promised Land and its beauty, but he was never to enter the Land for G-d had determined that his role in this world had ended. Moses died there on the mountain, in the Land of Moab and no man knows his burial place to this day.

The medal shows Moses at this moving moment, looking over to the beautiful Land of Israel with its abundant fruits.
