The enlarged set includes 12 uncirculated "New Sheqel" coins and a Hanukka 5747 medal.
The set is made up of five uncirculated coins bearing the mint year 1986-5746.
Another five of the coins bear the mint year 5747 and the word "Hanukka” in Hebrew and English and a Menorah. Two additional coins , minted in 1985/6 in limited quantities, include:
- 1 new sheqel with the word "Hanukka" in Hebrew and English and a Menorah.
- 1/2 new sheqel bearing the portrait and signature of Baron Edmond de Rothschild and the and a Menorah
names of the settlements he helped to found.
The Hanukka medal marks an Israel numismatic first. One side shows the dove with the olive branch and the words "Happy Hanukka" in Hebrew and in English and, on the other side, appear the name and emblem of the corporation and the date 1986/7-5747 in Hebrew and English. The Hanukka medal was minted exclusively for this set, with a limited mintage of 15,000, which is equal to the maximum limited mintage of the set. It will not be circulated and will not be sold in any other form other than as a part of this set.
