The 1 oz Silver Noah's Ark coin is part of a series issued by the Central Bank of Armenia and produced in Germany by the LEV mint. The coins are treated with a high-quality conservation technology that prevents the metal from reacting with the air, protecting the coin from discoloration and tarnishing over time.

The obverse, designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, depicts a dove in flight with an olive branch, with Noah’s Ark floating on the floodwaters in front of Mt.Ararat with the rising sun in the background.
The reverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia alongside the face value of "500 DRAM" and the year of issue.

The coin is issued as legal tender under Armenian monetary laws.
